Morgan Homes does very little advertising. The majority of our clients come from customer referrals. We ensure the building process is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible and that any new home exceeds the client's expectations.
Our first meeting with Wayne and Christine of Morgan Homes was in July 2013 at their display home in Wollongbar. We had recently started working with a draughtsman to develop a floorplan for our narrow block in a new estate which had some 'design guidelines' that became part of the requirements. We wanted a well insulated, energy efficient home with sensible orientation regarding sea breezes and the Sun.
We found it very helpful to discuss progress on the design with Wayne and Christine. They offered some suggestions that we could evaluate in the display home; we would go back to the draughtsman with our evolving ideas and requirements. Once we had settled on the design, we obtained four quotes from builders based or operating in the Ballina area. Which one to choose?
The prices quoted by the builders were all in a similar range, given that there were some small differences in the specifications. The scale and 'hands on' nature of Morgan Homes made the choice easy. We found Wayne and Christine very attentive, great communicators and always courteous. Construction started on the appointed day and was completed ahead of the contract period. When we visited the site, Wayne was always happy to explain how things were going. A few minor changes we requested along the way were happily accommodated. We have a photo of Wayne on site preparing the steel reinforcing for the footing on the first day of work. This became a regular sight; the boss on the job and indirectly reassuring us that the task was important to him.
We've lived in our new home for nine months, long enough to feel that we definitely made the right choice of builder. We have no hesitation in recommending Wayne and Christine of Morgan Homes to anyone wanting an attentive builder of a sound product. The standard of service is top class, as good today as it was when we first met.
